INCOMPETENT! DO NOT HIRE Frank sold us on their very professional service and completeness of their offering. We hired them to do a mold remediation, blown in insulation and attic fan installation on our Chicago townhome. First, before the job was even done, I get an email saying the job is done and to pay the invoice. A few hours later, another reminder to pay the invoice (guys are still in the house), when the guys want to leave PAY THE INVOICE. The next morning at 8AM, call, text and email about PAYING THE INVOICE. Word to the wise: DO NOT PAY THE INVOICE until the job is complete and inspected. Here are the issues after a day of work: 1.) Communication was a challenge. 2.) The workers asked to use the bathroom. I said of course, and thought they meant to actually USE the bathroom, like the toilet. Instead, the workers used our bathroom as their staging ground for heavy equipment. Our bathroom was completely remodeled 2 months ago and they didn't protect the floor, only using a garbage bag as their barrier. They scratched my brand new tile floor, in several spots because they simply did not use any type of protection under their equipment 3.) My brand new bath fan sounds like a jet engine. It was whisper quiet and when they added the venting to the outside it now sounds terrible. When I texted Frank the video he responded with "Jesus, that is unacceptable". 4.) When I contacted them about getting things corrected, CINDY from the PRODUCTION team told me someone would be by the following day between 1PM-5PM. I text her at 9AM that same day to confirm the appointment. Cindy confirmed. I waited around all day and she texts me at 4PM about scheduling someone to come out....um, our appointment is today I have been sitting here waiting all day. NO RESPONSE and NO ONE SHOWED UP 5.) Finally, I ask for SOMEONE who has authority and knows what they are doing to contact me. Someone named Dave texts, talks a big game about making sure things are right blah blah blah. We set an appointment for Today, Tuesday at 11AM. 11AM rolls around, no Dave. I text Dave, are you on your way? He texts back that he is 45 minutes away and made a mistake with the time. 6.) UPDATE: On a Saturday morning someone approaches my door. No one told me anyone was coming or who this person was. Language barrier again so I have this man get someone on the phone and it's Cindy. She acts IRRITATED AND DEFENSIVE that I am asking who the man standing at my door is and if he's qualified to fix my tile (he has too clean of tools to give anyone confidence this is his specialty) She has to get the owner on the phone before she would answer me 7.). I let him in and reluctantly let him attempt the repair. It looks ok at the time but once everything dries it's very clear it was repaired and doesn't look amazing. I should have trusted my gut and hired my own tile refinisher and not been ambushed by the surprise visit 8.) once complete, I call the owner and give him a run down of everything that happened so that he could understand from the customer perspective on all the ways his team dropped the ball ( I owned a small property management business and have appreciation for how hard managing field teams is and wanted to give him honest feedback about things that were wrong and could be remedied). How people were rude, blew off appointments, didn't follow up, could not communicate etc. I asked if he thought it was fair I pay the full balance of the invoice given the experience. He gave me a lot of explanations about how he needs to pay people, his price is low, and he acknowledged their failings and that he deserved the review but blah blah blah, bottom line he would take $100 off my invoice IF I WOULD REMOVE MY 1star REVIEW. Sorry, this is an insulting amount to offer after this whole ordeal and my integrity is worth more than $100. So, my review remains here for posterity Read reviews, check them out on the BBB...sadly, even if I needed a warranty repair I wouldn't even call them back out as they have lost my trust

Workmanship, communication, and genuine care are non-existent with this company. They have high google ratings but I would be skeptical of their authenticity. My experience started great with the sales person. That was it. After spending $7,500, I can’t even get a response to my issues from January 2025. This company quoted much more than competitors. I thought they would be honest and care about my project. You can see in the picture the area they addressed with insulation is 56 degrees while the bedroom was 68. Frank sold the project like it’s no big deal and they take care of this all the time. Julio came by with his crew and it seemed like he wasn’t briefed on the project details at all. Luckily I was home to point out what areas I paid for. In the end, it still didn’t matter. 66% of the areas are still cold and I can’t get an answer from anyone there. Seriously look at the negative reviews before hiring. Lots of similarities amongst them on Google and yelp to give you an idea of what you might deal with if you choose them. Glad my neighbor didn’t end up going with them. Update- after my 1 star review, the company called back and sent someone to look into the issues and add supplemental insulation. Next winter I will be able to see the results but hopefully this does the trick.

IT'S BEEN A NIGHTMARE!!! Their main issue is their customer service is hit or miss. Also, there's bad communication between their staff and management, where I'd get messages about the same thing from different people and thru different forms of communication (texts, emails, phone calls). They did a big job on my house last year. Two attics and one with a lot of mold. One year later there's new leak stains, screws/nails distending out, and cracks in the ceiling. I reached out to Green Attic multiple times and they were MIA for several days. They finally responded a week later and sent their guy Julio, who acted kind of like a "fixer", but not the good kind. He was supposed to address our questions and concerns but instead was aggressive, loud, and confrontational. He claimed that we needed to do a big repair job on the cracks and leak or risk voiding our warranty, which all turned out to be nonsense. Then, after I posted my first negative review about them, their staff member named Dimitris began HARASSING me through excessive emails, texts, and phone calls to try and get me to remove/change it. I looked on Yelp and looks like they do this with customers who leave bad reviews. I got a 2nd and 3rd expert opinion (roofers and insulation specialist) to come and check things out, who clarified that it was a roof issue. It is odd to me that we received no guidance from green attic about the roof - before, during, or after their big job because they have a roofing department. Roofs and attics are obviously related, and both should be considered when getting major work done. We eventually got our questions answered and issues resolved but only after lots of extra time and stress. They came to work on a couple of odds and ends and when their guys arrived (2hrs later than the time window), they didn't have any guidance from their management on what they were supposed to do. It could have been handled much better and with less stress thru good customer service. Now, I've checked my attic since it's winter time and there's random large patches of frost which isn't good. I reached out to their customer service and they had Rodney call me to try to explain that this is normal? That's complete nonsense. Since then, they've gone silent. It's been a several months now.

Green Attic installed blown in cellulose in our home. It was built in 1994 and our electric bills recently doubled due to data centers. We decided to upgrade the whole house with more thermal blanket. It’s safe and effective insulation. Doesn’t settle like others can. They do pressurize the insulation to force it into the wall. Make sure your drywall is secure as it could cause it to blow out. They can adjust pressure as needed to prevent this. The crew was on time both days and cleaned up well. This is the third time we have used them. Our next step is to remove all our siding install foam board on exposed sheeting. Next will be Tyvek house wrap, window sealing and new siding. Romulo selvin and his partner Rogo was real professional, they came in and got the job done. The work I had done was blown in cellulose insulation, they explained everything that were to be done! Worked nonstop untill they finished.and cleaned up. I would recommend Green attic to any one with insulation problems ps. The next. Emanuel Mejia came to apply three coats of plaster and sanded it down. getting it ready for paint plus cleaned up. Excellent job. Thanks, green attic. .

We got estimates from 4 different contractors for attic insulation and fan installation. Green Attic was the most responsive, professional, priced fairly, and the work is top-notch! We also had our crawlspace encapsulated by Green Attic, and the crew of Jorge Hernandez and Jorge Tapia did a fantastic job! They were professional, courteous, and worked late to ensure the job got done on time.

Romulo and crew just finished and did an amazing job. They were clean, polite and awesome to work with. They did insulation and ensured my bathrooms were ventilated correctly.

I just had my attic insulated using Green Attic. The crew I dealt with was extremely professional and did a great job. Martin, Jose and Omar were very helpful and knocked the job out efficiently and clean in a very reasonable time. Martin answered any and all questions and those 3 did a great job. Dennis was very helpful initially setting up everything for me. I just wanted to edit this post to acknowledge Marco and Emilio for this great work setting up my project. I had some more additional work done with a storage deck on top of my insulation and they handled everything as professional as possible. Big thanks to Marco for helping me get my attic to where I wanted it to be.

Green attic sent Alex and his crew to my house to insulate and install an exhaust fan...conditions in attic space well over 95 degrees and they didn't skip a beat! ThEY got up there and did exactly what Patrick (THE SALES PERSON) said they would do. They completed job in two days. Alex and his crew where very professional, efficient. They didn't waste time and didn't mind me askining questions. The explained thier process and procedures and where rt on schedule. I like that about Alex....he has great customer skills and pay attention to his work and how it may impact property and customer. The crew showed a ton of consideration for my home and my family. They made it seem like it was their home they where working on. I would hire Green attic, Alex, and his crew to work on my house any time. Thank you Patrick, Alex , the crew!. Friendly, fast, and fair. Very easy to work with this team and know I'm getting the best option at an honest price, all done by a super capable crew. Santos and Jorge were great and made it a stress-free day knowing they were going to take care of everything as if it were their own home. Highly recommend. Edit: I want to add that Selvin was equally professional, helpful, and considerate the next day with drywall installation!

I hired Green Attic for a spray foam install last year and I'm leaving a review now because they are emailing me asking for a review. The insulation was a huge improvement to the livability of my attic. However, they did a bad job with scheduling and a bad job with prep work and cleanup. For the prep work, the job lead onsite talked me into allowing them to do limited prep work in the unfinished areas of the attic promising they would be able to easily clean it up. Part of this was pressure from them to be able to finish the job in a reasonable amount of time. After the install there was foam absolutely everywhere in the unfinished areas of the attic. They came back an extra day to try and clean it up, but there is still a thin layer of foam everywhere and little bits of foam all over the unfinished parts of the attic floor, chimney, everywhere they didn't tape off. During the install, they cancelled 2 days in a row either late the night before or on the day they were supposed to arrive. Then the install took 2 days longer than they estimated, so I had to take way more time off of work than anticipated to be around for them. The attic insulation functions well, but I was generally unhappy with the experience.

Highly recommend Green Attic. Scheduled to have my attic re-insulated and Romulo and his crew did a fabulous job. The attic was in pretty bad shape prior to the work getting done and green attic made it look so good. The crew worked efficiently and got the job done in 2 days. I also asked Romulo to install a couple other things on my roof outside of the scheduled project and he very kindly and willingly did so without hesitation. From the initial quote to the install, Green Attic, was accommodating and fast. Frank came out on May 20 and squeezed up into the attic space. Found black mold on the rafters from poor ventilation due to a broken fan. I appreciated his honesty and recommendations. Ten days later, Edgar and his crew (Omar and Rigoberto) arrived. They did a great job remediating the black mold in the attic, adding thick insulation, baffles and replacing the attic fan with a solar powered fan for continuous attic air exchange. When they finished, Edgar showed me the final air flow and his crew were very respectful of the property, cleaning and tidying up the work area. I would recommend Green Attic to anyone needing mold remidiation and insulation.

Green Attic insulated my cemented crawl space under my home. The technician was Jaime Milton. He first disinfected the space. He then covered the ceiling with netting and then blew in cellulose dense material into the ceiling packed fully. Jaime was awesome. He and his associate arrived on time. They did the work in about 3 hours. They cleaned up afterwards. I would highly recommend them for your insulation needs.

These guys did a great job! Great price, quality service, and they offer several payment options and plans. I thought we bought a lemon of a house and the insulation and sealing job they did fixed all of our issues and were so thrilled! Highly recommend these guys. Plus they are local so it’s great supporting a chicago based company.

This review is for Leo that came over to fix a ceiling that the estimator put his foot through. He came over the same day and got the patch up and a first coat of mud. He was back first thing today for the final coat of mud. He is very professional and did a great job.

We have a somewhat unusual split level home that was built in 1968 that has three separate attic spaces. There was very little insulation left and many penetrations into the house. The upper level was unbearable in the summer and we imagined it would be very cold in the winter. We chose Green Attic because we felt they were more meticulous than other companies, providing the most detailed quote and explaining all aspects of air sealing and use of cellulose insulation. For anyone looking to insulate, please note that air sealing is just as important - you will not get much benefit from insulation if conditioned air from your home can be exchanged with your attic! Unfortunately, after the job started, they did find mold, but the extra cost to remediate was certainly worth it. After the job was completed, we were not surprised the temperature of the house improved, but what we were surprised at was the significant improvement in indoor air quality. Just see the attached before and after as an example of how bad our attic was vs. how good it now is.

Green Attic is beyond professional in the work they do and also how they comport themselves. I had never heard of them before and was looking for someone with high reviews. Not only for th quality of work, but professionalism, too. They have a great lead customer service person who gets the estimate and scope of work explained to you at the initial meeting. From there, their office staff and technicians handle the rest. They prepared me for what I should expect. They arrived in time. And they finished the job a day early. I couldn’t be happier. And my attic is night and day improved. R-Value increased. Aesthetically far more superior today than before they worked on it. I am very happy with the level of service.

Great service, highly recommend! We needed our attic inspected and insulated because it was sealed off when we moved in. The team gave a pretty accurate quote though they weren’t able to get into the attic to see everything. For the work, they were on-time, efficient, communicative, and did a great job cleaning up after, can hardly tell they were here. I will definitely call them again if we decide to do more insulation work.

I got three quotes, all were close in price, but Green Attic included a more thorough approach, and more detail. (Like sealing around all conduits and pipes with fireproof sealant, something others said not necessary.). My project was for blown in insulation in the attic only. No foam, no fans, etc... pretty straightforward. The crew was on time, and did a good job protecting the house from damage or bits of insulation. (impossible to be perfect, but they were conscientious, and cleaned well afterward). They removed odd items and debris that were in the attic, ensuring that there would be minimal hidden hazards for any future attic worker. They even discovered an additional issue around the fireplace that they addressed without charging extra. It looked great when they were done. Absolutely get multiple quotes, but I had a very good experience with Green Attic.

The Green Attic installation team (Rego and Omar) did a great job air sealing the attic floor, installing the baffles, applying the insulation and putting in the Attic Solar Fan. The also ventilated the upstairs bathroom fans with end caps on the roof. They showed many before and after photos so I could see the work that was done. The results were immediate with the upstairs as cool as the downstairs in an hour which was amazing! The whole process from the free estimate and consultation to the installation was flawless! Then Tim came and took photos for the attic and later I received the quote and I approved the work. They came and did 20% of the job and After that No communication. Every time I call they say. We will get back to you but they never call back. I can’t even get a response to my issues for more than a week. I don’t even know if they are coming back or I should hire a different company. Seriously look at the negative reviews before hiring. Very disappointing service

Romulo and team spent two days insulating my attic areas. They were prompt, professional and very clean. Green Attic provided an insulation quality that is more efficient than the two other firms that I interviewed. When they noticed something that needed changing, they were very communicative on providing a solution. Time will tell this winter how well the insulation works, but I am optimistic.

They discovered an issue with some electrical work while working on the insulation, which I was surprised and happy about, and were able to rectify the situation easily and at a great value, considering the timing of the project, etc. Romuno made it clear he want to ensure my satisfaction throughout the process. Green Attic was great from start to finish. They finished in one day. Drilling countless holes to install cellulose insulation. The crew covered everything and did as good a job as possible in cleaning up afterwards. A few holes could have been repaired a little bit better but the day was long and hot so I’ll live with it. The results were immediate. Noises I’ve heard for years are no longer. The house is more quiet and the air conditioning seems to be more evenly distributed in the house. My crew was great and I appreciate their service!!

Great work for a great price! Green Attic delivered with excellent service and professionalism. The initial quote and proposal was detailed with a generous warranty and good value for installation of a modern roofing system. Good communication and responsiveness to concerns. The supervisor Alejandro was friendly and went out of his way to make sure the job was accomplished to our requirements. We will definitely be looking at getting more work done by them.

I cannot recommend Green Attic based on my experience. My project involved repeated scheduling problems, crews arriving with damaged equipment, incorrect materials, and equipment they did not know how to operate. There were multiple visits where the crew remained at my home for only a few minutes before leaving, resulting in another rescheduled appointment. This repeatedly disrupted my schedule and caused me to rearrange my commitments. During the work, my basement flooded after my sump pump was unplugged, my dehumidifier was damaged, spray foam contaminated personal property, including BMW seats I had stored in the basement, caulk was left on kitchen surfaces and furniture, and other belongings were damaged. Instead of feeling like my home was being protected during the project, I was left with significant cleanup and repair issues. After I reported the damage, I experienced confusion and conflicting information regarding how to pursue reimbursement. I was directed from one insurance source to another without resolution, and the process became frustrating and time-consuming. What disappointed me most was the lack of accountability. When problems occurred, I did not feel that responsibility was accepted or that meaningful efforts were made to fully resolve the damages caused during the project. If you are considering hiring Green Attic, I encourage you to thoroughly document your property before work begins, ask detailed questions about insurance coverage and claims procedures, and carefully inspect all completed work before signing off. My experience was stressful, costly, and left me with damage to my home and belongings that I am still working to resolve. Based on my experience, I would not hire Green Attic again.

Albero and Virgilio were here today, came on the early side, which was great, and finished ahead of the time frame outlined which was also great. They worked all the way through and did a really good job with the insulation, cleaning up very nicely at the end, even doing a few little extras which were not required. My attic looks not only well insulated, but pretty as a picture as well. Go Green Attic!

Everything was wonderful from the minute I called to schedule an estimate through the final stages of the work, as promised it was messy, and I did not pay for extra deep cleaning, but the crew did clean up after themselves, including all the insulation that was covering my front lawn. I did have to do a considerable amount of cleaning the next day, but again that happens after any construction. Any small detail that I asked them to cover they took care of, I am very pleased with the work.

Wonderful experience! We used them for mold abatement, insulation and increased ventilation in our attic. They were prompt, courteous and created no mess at all. They made this whole process easy for us and our household (including our 2 pets). Highly recommend them.

We had four Green Attic workers involved over our three day project. The first day Alvaro & Jeff worked diligently at completing the mold remediation and insulation installation. They were polite, hard working and respectful of our home. The second day, Mario completed the initial mudding & sanding of the installation holes. Then on the third day, Mario and Sammy completed the final sanding and the opening of the soffit vents. These two men were also hard working and respectful of our property. The entire job went smoothly and comfortably.

I just had the roof of my garage spray foam insulation of 3 inches. The workers did a great job and were done in a timely fashion and thorough with their cleanup.

Romulo and his team did a good job. They were quick and efficient. Took care to make sure the area was cleaned up after. Made sure the vents put in blended in nicely with the roof. Happy with their work.

Our house is drastically more comfortable after an air sealing and insulation project. They were also able to accommodate our request for a positive pressure blower door test (rather than negative), though it take a bit of back and forth to get that sorted out. They did very good work and I will definitely be reaching out again if we have any future insulation projects.

I would highly recommend Green Attic. Great price and Rigoberto and Jhonny really did a great job on removing old insulation and installing new insulation. They also installed a new attic fan and bath exhaust fan. Very professional. Thank you!

I just had Green Attic insulate my attic space/ blown in insulation. They sent a crew ( Romulo + Jose), Both were very friendly + respectful of my home and were very informative of the process. Alvaro and Jon did a great job re-insulating dense-pack cellulose insulation after water damage. The company got in quickly so I could proceed with the remaining work to make my house livable again.

Romulo and his team were awesome, got our old insulation removed and replaced, all the cracks sealed, and fixed our bathroom exhaust vent in a single day! Super professional, cleaned up the place after (looks better than it did before they arrived), and kept a watchful eye on our kitties trying to escape. They even shovelled our driveway to get the truck in upon arrival (sorry about that!!). Thanks guys!

Jose and crew were great! He clearly explained the process and all the work that would be done. They blew insulation into our attic to the proper level and cleaned up everything before they left. Overall, they did an excellent job.

I was pleased with the work I recieved with the Company. James was my first point of contact. If it were not for him, I would not have proceeded with the scope of work. There seemed to be some confusion, and lack of communication on the front end (office). James was professional, knowledgeable, personable, and an excellent communicator. Workers arrived on time and were very thorough and knowledgeable. The issues I had were explained and options where given to help cost savings. Now I have reinforced ceilings, dry wall repairs , Attic ventilation, and more installation.

GreenAttic completed the work they outlined in their proposal, however two disappointments have led me to write this review: 1) lack of communication after the job was complete to answer follow-up questions about the work done, despite several promises that "the production team will get back to you" 2) I asked about the part on the proposal that said, "client is responsible for the ductwork to be sealed and taped properly before work starts." I was told, " Honestly, I've seen it happens once in all these years working for Green Attic insulation. I will not be too concerned about it." On install day, blown-in cellulose insulation infiltrated a duct, filling a bedroom with dusty cellulose loose-fill insulation unexpectedly. Huge mess. The installers wouldn't have even noticed it had I not discovered the mess and pointed it out. They cleaned it up as best they could, but this mess could have been avoided to begin with had my question been answered appropriately. A major snafu during the work followed by no communication or follow-up is a bad look.

Romual and Jose it’s -10 and they were here on time. Hooked up power. Protected and covered all carpeting, walls doorways etc told me it’s going to be dusty with plaster walls and 6 hours later they are Cleaned up and gone. Total 420 sq ft blown in insulation into 4” dead air space in this 1910 house. Green attic has done my attic and now perimeter walls Highly recommend this team.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I have had nothing but awful experiences with them. The initial guy that comes out is really nice but it’s obvious now that he would say anything to make a sale. We got new insulation in our attic less than a year ago as well getting our ceiling reinforced. Again, less than a year later and our ceiling is full of nail pops. Our ceiling looks worse now than it did before we dealt with this company. When we got our insulation installed we were told we wouldn’t have the wet and “sweating ceilings” anymore. That was also a lie. I have tried to contact them several times to make this issue right but they refuse to contact me back. Learn from my mistake and stay away from this company.

I got a couple different quotes for attic insulation and air sealing. Green Attic was by far the most professional and communicative company. Virgilio and Wilfrido, the insulation technicians, were fantastic. The entire experience from start to finish was a breeze.

Great work. Rigo and Selvin did a great job. They were on time and completed our attic insulation project very efficiently. It was a very messy job and done in very tight quarters. They laid tarps throughout the work area and cleaned up the space when done. Very satisfied with the whole project. Project was completed per our estimate and everything went very smoothly. I hired them for attic insulation and air sealing. Their quote was the best I got and they were thorough. The estimate was done by Frank, who was very thorough and helpful in identifying areas that needed to be finished - he asked about how many bathroom fans we had upstairs and I totally forgot about one that needed to be installed! The crew worked efficiently, answered my questions, and showed me the attic when it was done. I had done some research before about what kind of work needed to be done and it all looked great. If I had another attic, I'd hire them again!

Romulo and Jorge from Green Attic were amazing. They worked extremely hard all day installing our installation and provided the best possible service. They communicated well and went above and beyond. They additionally did a great job cleaning up at the end of the day. Couldn’t recommend them more!

Romulo and Mario did a great job in doing some minor blow in cellulose work in our home. The job was done cleanly (within reason, it's still construction). They were tidy and efficient. Time will tell if the work was effective, but given what I saw we should hopefully be much warmer. Strangely, looking forward to a very cold day.

Green Attic was incredibly busy at the end of 2025 due to the 12/31/2025 expiration of the Energy Efficient Home Improvement Credit. On short notice, their crews still managed to re-insulate our attic, cap the can lights on our top floor, install proper venting for our bathroom fans (that had been venting directly into our attic instead of outside), and pipe insulation into three drafty walls before the end of the year. There was was an equipment failure that caused a delay and kept work going until late in the evening on a Friday (which is our reason for four stars instead of five). This meant crews weren’t quite able to finish patching our drywall and perform a required blower test before they left. But they came back early in 2026 to finish the job. All in all, we were quite satisfied with the work and will be able to take advantage of the last year of the Energy Efficient Home Improvement federal tax credit before the poorly named "Big Beautiful Bill" ended it.

If I could give negative stars, I would on this company. Very unethical business practices. They quoted work at my home, which I reviewed and accepted as the price seemed fair. After the work had been started at my house the tried to DOUBLE the original quote, stating that they made a mistake on the square footage, along with other changes. I know there may be some small adjustments, but this was insane. I don't believe that this mistake should be my issue. They had already removed the insulation from my attic prior to adjusting this quote and threatening to walk away and not finish the work. I told them I did not want them back at my house. AVOID THIS SHADY COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.

A truly awful experience. After a quote which literally took 5 minutes, $4500 for cellulose insulation. Texts to schedule were unresponsive. Finally called and confirmed a time. Took the day off work to be here to oversee. Crew was supposed to be here at 7am and at 7:10am I get a text saying: “due to a staffing shortage we need to reschedule your work. Can you provide a few possible date that works for you please.” No phone call nor apology. Contacted both the office and representative and still haven’t heard back 8 hours later and they were open. Beware working with this operation. I have lost a days works pay. Poor customer service to say the least. Good luck.

I had green attic blow in insulation in my walls. Romulo and Selvin were very prompt. They were very professional and explained everything to me. When they finished they cleaned up all the mess. Well Done!

We had a great experience. Out of the three quotes we received green attic was very competitive in their pricing. The entire process was very easy having the job complete just a few days after receiving the initial quote. We had green attic remediate mold as well as add an attic fan and fix our soffit vents. Very easy process that was done very well.

The Project: Thermal Barrier for exterior kitchen bump out The Good: I had a bit of a mixed experience with Green Attic. On the professional side, they are great to work with! The quote and scope of work were very easy to understand, and they were incredibly quick to get me on the schedule. Marco was a standout—he was super responsive via both text and phone, which I really appreciated. The actual insulation work itself was completed thoroughly. The Not-So-Good: I would have loved to give them more stars, but the job site preparation was honestly poor. They didn’t properly secure the area to prevent the cellulose/insulation from entering the house. They used a sheet to cover the patio door, but the wind blew it right off. Because they hadn't tarped the entrance where the hose was connected, my entire mudroom was covered in debris. The Result: I was left with a massive cleanup project. Most upsettingly, the insulation got all over my shoes. I now have to take my suede leather and shearling boots to a professional cobbler to see if they can be cleaned , an added expense. Advice for Others: It was a very avoidable situation, which makes it more frustrating. If you hire them, make sure you are home during the service so you can personally monitor the prep work and ensure your entryways are fully sealed. Also this is stuff you don't want to inhale so make sure adequate circulation or a industrial vacuum.

Great experience from the start. Denis gave a thorough run through and quote of what was needed for our attic. Communication was fast and clear. We were able to set an appointment for the work after a couple days of the estimate. Romeo, Charlie, and Rigoberto got here on time for the install and they were very efficient with their time. They started with a blower test, laid down protection for the floors and taped off walls to protect from the tubes and they cleaned up right after very well.

Walter and Juan came today to do air sealing, add insulation and attic fan. They were efficient, friendly and cleaned up after the job. Denis did the initial inspection and was friendly and thorough. I want to commend our work, crew, Mario, and Emanuel Euloser. Mario was the crew leader and he worked diligently to get our ceiling fixed after previous construction workers tore it down. It was so easy to work with green attic and all the people were so helpful. We’re going to get them to fix other ceilings in our condo.. I felt the crew was very respectful of boundaries, always asking questions and making sure my dog and I could still stay present if we wanted.

It started with a leak in one of our bedrooms during a frigid cold spell. We immediately suspected a hole in our roof from our recent solar panel installation. ServPro came out to assess and informed us there was no damage yet, but we had a critical ventilation issue that needed to be addressed. Unfortunately, we built this house less than three years ago with a locally-based custom builder. Last year we had an attic issue and thought we'd mitigated it with additional baffles and insulation. That wasn't the case as we encountered the same symptoms this year. My husband found Green Attic and we set up a consultation. They sent Frank, who was amazing -- he really knows his stuff. He explained everything and identified where the original job neglected high-quality work: insufficient insulation, no weatherstripping between our climate-controlled house and unconditioned attic, improperly vented bathroom fans, and no active attic ventilation fan. Without these, we were seeing massive ice buildup on our north face. When it melted, it created very wet conditions that couldn't dry properly. We were very concerned about mold, as the previous issue from the last year had already started showing mold right away that we had to mitigate quickly. We had questions about the estimate, but they were answered promptly. We were lucky that the crew could come out within days of approving the work. The team -- Jaime, Juan Luis, and Raul -- were on time and ahead of schedule. They kept the place clean, which is impressive when you're blowing insulation. Reached out to Green Attic after a -15° night caused ice to form on the baseboards in our main bedroom that is directly above the garage. They came out the next day, did an inspection, and came up with a plan to seal and insulate the garage ceiling. Scheduled the work right away and it was done the following week. The team was prompt and got it all done in under 4 hours. Our bedroom is significantly warmer and we've had no more issues with the cold. Going to reach out in the summer for them to do the main attic since they were so professional.

I purchased the Energy Audit and I couldn't be happier with the results. After consulting with several different companies about my home's thermal efficiency/heat loss issues, I wasn't satisfied at all. It seems that almost any contractor I talked to just wanted to recommend their own solution, rather than help me accurately diagnose the issues. One company said I needed to spray foam the rim joists (they're a spray foam co.), another said I need to blow cellulose into the wall cavities from the outside of the house (just happens to be their specialty), another individual contractor told me to frame one specific room and use fiberglass batting (I guess that's just what he knows best). You get what you pay for and no free quote is free when all you ever get is a recommendation to do what the company likes to do best. So I decided to pay for an energy audit in an attempt to get an unbiased opinion of the real issues so I could make the best decision and hopefully not waste money doing this piecemeal without a holistic understanding or a good/better/solution. Tim from Green Attic Insulation was incredibly thorough and interactive, showing me every cold spot in the house with a thermal camera, then setup a blower door and showed me again how air was getting in and causing most of the issues. We talked about the basement, the attic, the walls and how his experience with other homes in the area informed his understanding of the issues in my home. That's exactly what you should look for in a contractor, someone who is willing to take a close look, explain the science, give recommendations without getting the work, and follow-up with all results and photos, regardless of further work. You have to pay for that, you can't just hope that you get it from a free quote. Best part: Tim gave me pointers on how to address many of the issues myself since I'm comfortable doing some things myself. I also got quotes for further work if I wanted to take it to the next level after I've addressed the quick wins on my own, and those quotes were very reasonable and competitive.

We are first time home owners and were very anxious about fixing our attic since when we bought the home, it had poor insulation which caused the mold in the house. Green Attic was first referred to us by a friend back in June 2020 so we already had a good impression of them before they came. James came to make an estimate and was very detailed in what needs to be done with our attic. However, since we found a contractor to fix the rest of the house that same day, we ended up canceling on Green Attic. To our dismay, our contractor could not meet the same quality of work Green Attic offered, though they promised to do so. So last month, we contacted James again for the attic insulation and he graciously agreed to do the work for us. The team that was sent today was prompt, professional, and cares about the quality of work. They worked from.9:15am and didn't leave til about 4:30pm and was able to finish everything in one day with a team of 6 I believe (usually, they said they work in a team of 3 and finish in 1.5 days). They asked me to check their work before leaving and explained what was done. They showed pictures of the work they did which will be emailed to us by the company and patiently answered questions. They made sure that everything was clean even vacuuming my rug outside my door:) Overall, we are very pleased with their work, find comfort that our attic is properly insulated and our children warm and mold free. Green Attic does really great work. An estimator came out ti my home within a day of my making contact. The estimate came within an hour or so of the estimator's visit. The work started a few days after that. Green Attic's crew of Walter, Virgilio and Ricardo spent three days at my house removing insulation in two separate attics, sealing the attics, and then reinsulating them. They also insulated two hard to reach soffits. The crew was clean, friendly and very respectful. I'd highly recommend Green Attic and use them anytime. Just a great experience for a difficult job and potentially messy job.

This is the second project that Jamie and his team have done at our house. Last summer they replaced the old fiberglass insulation in our attics (a big job!) and then this winter they added more insulation to our walls. Jamie is a true professional and does excellent work. This winter broke me. I contacted green attic to have my home insulated with blown insulation. It was a big job. But one where we immediately recognized benefit. My house was built in 1917 and renovated by a flipper 14 years ago. In the 14 years we have lived here my home has never been over 65 degrees in the winter or below 78 in the summer. After day 1, for the first time in a winter month my house reached the temperature I set on my thermostat. After day 2 the whole house was comfortable and able to reach any temp we set it to. My thermostats have to relearn. The job is incredibly messy - during day 1 I was very concerned about my family being able to sleep in the home. That fear was misplaced. Each day the entire crew cleaned up after themselves flawlessly. It was truly amazing to see the care they took getting us comfortable. The whole job took 5 days. The entire experience was thorough from the consultation with Frank. The project management with Marco was exceptional. The drywall finisher Selvin stayed on the final day until every detail was was perfect. I used to dread my people’s gas bill in the winter and comed bill in the summer. I can’t wait to see it now. Romulo and Alvaro - did a fantastic job. They installed attic insulation, 2 bathroom exhaust fans, an attic solar far, and air sealed the attic floor in a 1,050 sq ft. attic. They were professional, friendly, and meticulous. We would definitely recommend Green Attic for any attic insulation work!

We went with Green Attic over a different local company even though Green Attic's quote was more expensive. It seemed that they would put in more insulation than the competitor and seemed more professional, thus worth the extra money. We were pleased with the quick and easy scheduling process and the rep who came to examine our attic and give us a quote was nice and answered our questions. On the day work was scheduled, the crew was on time and got right to work. They had already begun the job when they let us know that there was mold in the attic that would need to be treated before proceeding. They also informed us that the rep had measured incorrectly and we were responsible to pay for insulating an additional 150 feet of attic space. No matter that the rep had come and inspected our attic. He missed the mold and also measured our space incorrectly. With the guys already working in the attic, our quote had suddenly doubled, from the $4K range to more than $8K. We were given the option to use another company to treat the mold, but then Green Attic would have to stop the work until the other company could come and then we would have to reschedule the insulation. Since my husband was staying home from work to have the insulation put in, it made sense for Green Attic to do the work. But we were very displeased to now be paying twice the amount expected. Treating mold is expensive, of course, but we could have made an informed decision if the rep had noticed the mold when he inspected the attic before issuing a quote. And if he had measured correctly, we would have known exactly how much it cost to put in insulation. We had many phone calls with the office to explain our position. They were very courteous, but in the end, they discounted us less than $300 in acknowledgement of their mistake. (They explained over the phone how they were really discounting us $1800. That was just dishonest, because $900 was a rebate from the gas company and the other $600 was their spring promotion- both included in the original quote.) Various office staff apologized numerous times for the problems incurred, and the rep himself called to apologize. They felt bad and stated that they wanted to maintain a good relationship with us. But our relationship with Green Attic is a business one, based on services rendered in accordance with the quoted price, and that simply did not happen. And they took very little and unimpressive initiative to rectify that professional relationship by owning the mistake and compensating us accordingly. To sum up this saga, we were happy with the work performed but felt that this company lacks integrity. I wouldn't recommend them to friends or family, since the price you're quoted to start may not accurately reflect what you're ultimately asked to pay. Pretty disappointing.

All I could say is that Green Attic as a whole was great. Romulo and George were excellent, the work that was done went beyond my expectations. Really glad I chose Green Attic. I would definitely recommend this company.

Very satisfy with Green Attic , the Energy Expert Frank Milosevic answered any questions that I had, the crew lead by Jaime came to our home to start working and also they were willing to answer any question or concerns, they very hard working people and very polite . From my first meeting with Patrick to review the project and costs to his crew (Pomulo and crew) coming to carry out the work this was a great experience. We had maybe 3 inches of insulation at best and now we have nearly 20. We expect to see this improvement reflected in our heating and AC costs in the coming year and a more comfortable and consistent temperature especially upstairs where it would often be a challenge to cool down on really hot summer days. These folks were respectful of our home and did great work, I highly recommend them. On a price point, I'm a firm believer in "you get what you pay for". Green Attic was not the cheapest but also not the most expensive... rather right in line. We met them on a referral from a neighbor and I think with this project now complete, it was a great choice and excellent value! Thank you!

I contacted Green Attic for a quote on 10/20. Unlike the competitors, they were able to give a quote based on my provided dimensions, sight unseen. My project was garage attic insulation, so I can run my heat source in my finished garage without having to worry about creating a condensation environment, which could lead to roof rotting. The fact that they were willing to work with me on the quote over the phone was super refreshing. In fact, one of the competitors I called wanted to charge me $99 just to get an estimate! Of course, there was a disclaimer that the quote was subject to change based on final inspection, but nothing changed. To my surprise, after I accepted the quote electronically later that evening, James contacted me the very next morning (10/21) informing me he had a cancellation and had a crew at the ready if I was interested in having it done right away. I expressed some hesitancy because my garage was currently a mess as I have a project going on with my Nova. James assured me that they would be more than willing to clear a path and take good care to make sure my car was fully covered and protected. Not only did they keep their word, but James even texted me photos to put my mind at ease (which I've shared here). I now have proper baffling for venting and 18" of loose fill insulation to get me to a value of R-60. Their guys were in and out in about 4 hours and there was literally not a trace of their being there. James came by the next morning to collect payment. Simply put, this transaction could not have been any easier than it was. In a world of it being increasingly difficult to get contractors to show up, this was such a refreshing experience. Thanks for a job well done, Green Attic! James and crew knocked this one out of the park for me.

Our attic was at about R-20 and we wanted to seal and increase the insulation to R-60. We contacted Green Attic for a quote and they were able to quickly accommodate our schedule and Patrick Mahoney came out to work up a quote. Once we decided to proceed with the work, they were able to quickly schedule the work. They had told us that the work would take 3 possibly 4 days. However, on the day of the work they were able to add an extra crew member and were able to complete the work in two days. The guys who came out were very polite and friendly and did a fantastic job cleaning up after each day. It has been about 5 weeks since the work was done and on the 90+ degree days we are seeing our AC run about 20% less than before the work was done. More importantly, we are seeing much more even temperatures throughout the house (the difference in temperature between the upstairs and the basement has shrunk by several degrees). We expect to see a bigger benefit this winter.

The Green Attic crew (Alvaro, Omar, Emilio, Ronaldo) did a fantastic two day job with full replacement of ancient attic insulation on split level,  installed new solar fan, opened up the previously covered soffits and added baffles. Day two  they insulated our concrete floor crawlspace, added closed cell to the rim joist and finished up the interior attic work. they use plastic sheeting and floor covering while they worked and cleaned up all traces of their presence. As with any major activity, a thorough cleaning is needed for whole house, but it was immediately clear that the insulation was taking effect as our humidity levels improved dramatically the next day. We received quotes from other companies, and felt like Green Attic (Frank was our estimator) had the most comprehensive and professionally presented bid. We are glad we hired them.

Using Green Attic for a total attic insulation as well as some exterior insulation was a positive experience for us overall. From getting estimates and scheduling was a fairly easy process. Very good pricing was a plus. The crew spent 9 hrs prepping, inspecting and insulating our home. There was constant communication between company and customer for the most part. If I could recommend a few things to Green Attic that would be to designate one person as the communicator, I found that talking to many people in the company was confusing. The other would be is to have on your trucks outfitted after the job is complete a blower to clean up driveways/sidewalks instead of trying to sweep the job site. Overall this was a very good company to deal with and we’d certainly recommend them. Time will tell if the insulation does its job. Thank you to the crew for their hard work.

Got multiple quotes for attic mold remediation and insulation. Green Attic came in with the most competitive pricing and the strongest warranty by far. The estimator came out, explained everything clearly, and had a detailed quote ready on the spot. The crew removed the old insulation, treated the mold, reinforced loose drywall, installed new R-60 cellulose, added a solar fan, and vented our bathroom exhaust through the roof. They cleaned up everything before leaving. Professional from start to finish, would highly recommend.

Rigoberto, Omar, and Alvaro did an amazing job with insulation In our 1920s bungalow. Brought our home into the modern era and did so quickly, efficiently, and with proof based on the blower door test. Time will tell if the job has done the trick but I feel well taken care of.

Installers were great! Fast, efficient and friendly. Answered all my questions. I was worried it would be messy. They cleaned up everything! Perfect! Scheduling was a little different. They were supposed to do two separate things. We scheduled one time slot. When the insulation guys were done, I was informed that the roof vents would be installed the next day. That was never discussed. Disrupting my schedule for a second day. Altogether still a 5 star experience! Just be detailed and explicit when discussing schedules.

Green Attic did an excellent job addressing a complex insulation and airflow issue in a multi-unit condo. We had a persistent problem with cold air moving through a wall cavity from the crawl space, which was putting plumbing at risk of freezing. Their team took the time to understand the situation, listened to my concerns, and even went into the crawl space to ensure the sealing approach would be complete. They discussed the plan internally and executed a thoughtful solution using dense-pack cellulose to seal the cavity and eliminate the airflow (“chimney effect”). The crew — Virsilio and Rigoberto — were professional, worked carefully within tight spaces, and communicated throughout the process. They also extended the work to adjacent areas to improve overall performance and reduce cold spots, which was appreciated. The work involved opening sections of ceiling and wall, and they handled access, insulation, and cleanup well. They also did a good job patching the walls afterward. Any minor dust escape during installation was expected given the nature of dense-pack work and was cleaned up afterward. Overall, I was very satisfied with the quality of the work and the outcome. I would recommend Green Attic for situations where proper air sealing and insulation detail matter.

Green Attic applied spray foam in my rim joists and between my floor joists. They were professional, efficient, clean and affordable. I’m very happy with the work they did, and I’ll be hiring them again for my next project.

The work was well done by Ronaldo but he did not speak very much English. I was able to communicate with the project coordinator that day but it would be ideal if that person is actually on-site. Additionally, the project was started about 4 hours late, a delay I was only notified about after I called when the installer did not arrive within the 7-9 am window. Finally, there was only a small note listed in the proposal that the home should be vacated during or 24 hrs after spray foam is installed due to risk of fumes while curing. No one actually mentioned this to me so a suggestion is that this should be included in verbal communication either in scheduling the job or with the project coordinator the day of, given the safety risk. Overall the work was done promptly and affordably, half the cost of another quote I was given. Would use again and recommend to others but hope these considerations are taken into account.

The sales team and install team are great. They finished up an attic insulation job that we started in January. This past week they finished installing a solar fan and some exhaust fan tubes. I was scheduled for a 9am start time. At 915 I texted the project coordinator and was told it was going to be 10 more minuses since they finished up some training. At 1015 I texted again. Got a call from Marco. He said the had some crew members that did not show up. The new time was between two and three. The team came around 3. Finished with what was needed quickly. It was roughly 430. Ince they finished. I received two calls and a text from Marco asking for payment. BTW at 730 that morning I was emailed an invoice for the work. That was not performed yet! Back to Marco…I told him that you want payment now when my day was delayed for whatever reason. He mentioned thee tram wasn’t going to leave until he received the payment. Kind of a string arm tactic. This was during MY work day. And I was actually on business calls when he called. What if I was in calls or had to leave for an appointment or pick up of my kid??? If they didn’t get payment right then and there was the install team going to remove the vents they installed on my roof??? The invoicing side of Green Attic needs better customer service methods. I felt like if I didn’t pay up. They would come after me.

I used Green Attic Insulation a few years ago to insulate my attic, build a deck, and add air flow as I was having trouble keeping my attic cool in the winter. In addition, they added an attic fan to help move the air. I recently went in the attic to replace the air filter and noticed my attic fan was no longer spinning. I called green attic to have them come and look at the fan and the team of Jose, Omar, and Manuel replaced the fan as part of their warranty program. In addition, while they were on my roof they noticed that one of my chimney vents rusted off. The team gave me time to run to Home Depot and buy another one and replaced it while they were up there. I really appreciate them letting me know and helping me out so I didn’t have to go on my roof.

Good Crew was very professional and their insulation work was good. Person quoting job was very good , quick and very responsive with questions Bad Really bad patch job by the crew. Even 'rough' path should have been a lot better than what they did. Site lead Jonathan was not very reliable with communication on the day of the job even though that was the expectation they set. No real follow up from company. Ideally they would be able to do some test to check improvement before and after insulation was added (even if there was a cost) The person quoting the job was not the same as crew doing the job. So I had to explain the work needed all over again which is not ideal, especially with language gaps.

Super happy with Green Attic. The whole process went smooth from day 1. They spray foamed the following: slab, crawl encapsulation, exterior wall, and flat roof. They also had the best pricing. Will use them again when I remodel more areas of the house.

Green Attic takes customer service very serious. We have a 151 year old home and she needs extra Tlc. Of course surprises happen with old homes. I'd give 10 stars if I could. Edgar's crew and Patrick were fantastic to work with. I had a tight timeline between buying a house and moving in. Edgar / Patrick helped us go from R5 to R60 in the attic before moving-in. We were also roofing our house and Patrick personally met with our roofer to discuss proper intake and ventilation measures to take with my house. As far as the execution, Edgar's crew was super clean in my house, explained his work, built a great walkway and attic door in addition to insulation and air sealing. Patrick has also been super helpful with my air quality and insulation questions.

This was our second job using Green Attic. Our situation was not your everyday normal job, that's for sure. We had a very tight area under our kitchen than needed to be insulated, rodent proofed along with adding a thermal barrier. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the job they accomplished. We discovered extensive mold in attic of the new home we purchased, and the Green Attic team went above and beyond to diagnose the problem, identify the root cause, and complete the necessary remediation on a quick turnaround. They were incredibly thorough, communicated clearly throughout the entire process, and were able to handle every aspect of the job themselves, which made a stressful situation much easier for us. They also completed the work for a fraction of the price quoted by other companies. We are extremely pleased with both the quality of their work and the level of service they provided. I would HIGHLY recommend Frank, Emilio, and the rest of the team.

I hired Green Attic for attic insulation and air sealing. The guys that they were led by Wilfredo , Antonio and Manuel did a great job, they were very informative, and very professional. I'm very glad I chose Green Attic -- the company was prompt and very helpful with a reasonable quote and 2 very hard working men! I am not sure how long ago my home was insulated, and it's a 100 year old house. Jaime and Alvaro were extremely professional, always polite and made sure everything was spotlessly clean when they were done. It was a big job, and they checked with me for any questions, such as old wood left in the attic. It was a very big job and they handled it all so well! We had our attic improved with air sealing, new baffles, and R-60 cellulose insulation. The insulation team also connected our bathroom fans to new roof vents and we added a solar fan to keep the attic well-ventilated. The crew did a great job, with Romulo and Ronaldo as the experts and Daniel helping out. They were very efficient, kept things clean, and did testing to check things out. Gas company rebate helped with cost. Overall, a good experience with Green Attic Insulation and we're glad we now have a much better attic.

Wilfredo and Angel did outstanding work on the attic insulation above my garage. They were very professional, worked efficiently, and took the time to thoroughly clean the entire area afterward. Crew arrived on time and operated with utmost professionalism. The crew included Ricardo and Omar. They placed drop clothes everywhere to protect my floors. The work looks very well done. They answered all my questions and cleaned up so well - my house is cleaner than when they arrived. Update: I am changing the review to one star. I was contacted by Andrea of Green Attic Roofing. She informed me that the crew that specializes in insulation installation determined that there was roof damage that rose to a level warranting a roof inspection during the insulation installation work they performed. She engaged in high pressure sales and scare tactics in an attempt to convince me to have Green Attic Roofing inspect my roof. I have an honest roofing company that I have worked with for decades and trust that performed an inspection recently following a hail storm and did not find any damage. When you sign a contract for work to be performed by Green Attic - they use that as a springboard to try and pressure you into using them to do other work.

Jaime and team did an excellent job on the insulation, ventilation, solar fan and any repairs needed to address my upper attic! They also did an awesome job on clean up. My thanks to the entire crew.

Alvaro and Jaime came by to fix our attic insulation and did an amazing job! They fixed the insulation after the old insulation and answered our questions revolving our concerns with the old insulation. They were also prompt and professional and made sure to clean the area. We appreciate the hard work they put into the insulation, and we are very happy with the results!

Beware of this scam company that is Green Attic. We had mold in our attic and we were convinced that the entire insulation had to be replaced. We eventually found out by the manager that sales rep Frank had the audacity to use google maps to calculate the square footage which included exterior parts of the house that should not have even been included! These guys quoted and tried CHARGING us at 1,100 sq feet as opposed to what we actually have which is 944 sq feet. Absolute thieves. I had to call and have the manager (who is no longer there) come over to verify and I ended up lowering the bill over $1,500. I think of the people and elderly as well that may not know better and may just agree with whatever these people tell them to. BEWARE. don’t make the same $8,000 mistake that I made by hiring them. Advice to people reading this: know how many vents you have and know if it is already sufficient as it is!! these scammers tried convincing us that we needed to spent an additional thousand dollars for gable vents when we already have enough ventilation in the attic. Picture 1: Our moldy, fiberglass infested insulation was just thrown into one of the bedrooms here (all over the walls, floors, and open storage bins) before they stuffed them in garbage bags. Love fiber glass and mold spores in our home’s air… don’t you? Picture 2: Our lighting and pretty much all vents/fixtures on our ceiling were dropped significantly after they left which posed a significant hazard until they decided to come “fix” it after i called and called and called. They came two months later. Another thing that didn’t sit right with me about what the previous manager Dave disclosed was when he said that when he worked with the owner of this company, Dimitry,… if they had too much insulation, Dimitry told Dave “ just find a spot to put it.” basically insinuating that if it was too much insulation, instead of giving the money back to the homeowner, to simply stuff it somewhere in the attic. doesn’t quite seem like he has his best interest in mind for all homeowners. did I mention that Frank didn’t even step foot in our attic? they also quoted us for baffles at the ends of each rafter… when i did the research i learned that they are not needed if you have closed soffits. Surprise! we have CLOSED soffits! they really thought they could charge us $600 for something we didn’t need?! they think all of their customers are dumb and they will play you like a fool too. ******* Dishonest company. Owner does not know anything about mold nor how to properly train his team.

Great experience from start to finish . The crew was friendly and professional and did an excellent job insulating my attic they explained everything clearly worked efficiently and left the area clean when they were done you can tell they care about the quality of their work I am very happy with the results and would definitely recommend them. Sktechy sales person and poor install. The sales person was really sketchy. He made inappriotate comments of a sexual nature. He promised the team installing my insulation would also be able to patch a drywall hole and then never followed through on that. The team installing the insulation was confused about what they were supposed to do. They cut open parts of the wall that they were not supposed to do. They tried to get payment before they completed the job and then they were pretty argumentative when I asked them to complete the job before I paid the final balance. I would not recommend Green Attic.

Tom is the best!! He gives great advice and guidance that helps to know what are the next steps. He is considerate of all your needs and truly listens! We highly recommend Tom and will call him whenever we need attic help or guidance!

I read the negative reviews on here and elsewhere, but was dismissive of people maybe just having a negative interaction with the contract laborers Green Attic uses, but the experience of even getting quoted has me turning to other local recommendations found on Reddit. I asked if someone could come out and quote what replacing insulation in my bungalow ceiling would be like. Not only did the guy show up three hours later than was scheduled without any notice he tried to blame "the girls at the office" for not calling and informing us. She clearly had her number because he called us when he was out front. More than anything, it's really annoying to block off a certain amount of time during a workday and reschedule meetings only to be inconvenienced like this. The guy then came in, looked at the ceiling for two minutes without using any tools to measure or inspect what was already there, then asked to use the bathroom and left. On his way out, he said he would send a quote, and it took three weeks of contacting their office (the guy didn't pick up calls or reply to texts) and eventually having to talk to the owner to get a quote. Sight unseen, the owner instead used Google Maps to rough the bungalow's square footage and send over an estimate - essentially making the whole visual inspection/visit pointless. I encourage everyone to read the other negative reviews here to have a whole picture of what you were experience might be like. We are definitely looking elsewhere for a company that shows they care about the work they do instead of just collecting a paycheck.

Romulo and Jose installed cellulose insulation into my full finished attic walls and crawl spaces. First, I would like to say they were very respectful of my space. I was not sure where they would have to place holes in my finished space to blow in the insulation, but once we agreed on where they should be placed, they were opened only to size necessary and sealed very professionally. Plastic was put up from ceiling to floor on all walls so that it would protect my valuables, furniture, and clothing from dirt and dust. I would recommend these two to come back into my home to do any type of work. They worked very hard. Took minimal breaks to ensure an on time completion. I am very pleased with the work that was done. The goal of this project is to lower my utility bill and to evenly regulate the temperature in the attic living space for a more comfortable living, doing the winter and the summer months in Chicago. I hope we were successful!

I contracted with Green Attic Insulation for mold remediation and installation of a solar fan. The workers arrived on time and started work immediately. Jeff, Jose and Luis covered the floor (including the downstairs floor where the attic is accessed) and any items that could not be moved. They worked quickly and cleaned up afterward so I had nothing to do. Good value as well.
